The new Ellsworth Municipal Hospital will:

• Recruit new primary care and specialist physicians to work and live in our community.
• Expand our emergency department to treat more people in a timely and confidential manner.
• Provide new medical technology to broaden the array of surgical services offered locally.
• Be a single story facility in a highly visible, easily accessible location.
• Support efficient staffing and use of resources; and add to the convenience of our patients.
• Feature family-friendly rooms as well as accommodate outpatient services and ambulatory procedures.
• Meet evolving patient care service standards and rules of the American Disabilities Act.
• EMH provides and will continue to provide education and a place for medical treatment that’s close and convenient for its community members.
